Teresa Estrada

Dr Teresa Estrada is Head of the Microwave and Laser Diagnostics Unit in the Fusion National Laboratory at CIEMAT (Madrid, Spain). Since 1990 she has actively participated in the development of Microwave Reflectometry as a diagnostic technique to measure density profiles, density fluctuations and plasma flows. She co-ordinates experiments in TJ-II, like the L-H transition experiments, focusing on the experimental characterisation of turbulence and flows and their interactions. She is responsible at CIEMAT for the design and development of the Plasma Position Reflectometer for ITER and for the development and exploitation of a dual Doppler Reflectometer for W7-X.
